inspired Art by J Brick Pottery
Julie Bricknell of J Brick Pottery, has been creating her own style of pottery for 13 years. Primarily a self taught potter, she has developed her art form to become a juried member of Missouri Artisan Association (DBA as Best of Missouri Hands). J Brick Pottery studio is located in northern Cape Girardeau county on her family farm. The farm is surrounded by woods, a vineyard and gardens that inspires her to create her arts and crafts style pottery. Often you will find bits and pieces of leaf imprints, grapevine handles and flower designs as part of her creations. Earthy colors are her signature glazes on hand thrown and hand built stoneware pottery. You can find her pottery in Mozaic Art Studio and Cup N Cork in Cape Girardeau, Eggers and Company B&B in Farrar, Lutheran Heritage Museum in Altenburg and Metro Art Gallery in Dexter.
Purposeful pottery as art for everyday living.
