Pie birds

New order for the PIE SAFE in Pocahontas.  It is a cute little artisan bakery in an old bank building right in the middle of the town of Pocahontas.  Can't miss it with the cool graphic on the side of the building. (artist Craig Thomas)Just got the order and trying to dry them out in the microwave so I can fire them today...they want them for the scenic drive this COMING weekend....hope they don't explode.  That is what happens if I fire them in the kiln before they are completely dry.  Water molecules "boil" out and boom...no more pie bird.  Keeping my fingers crossed they fly through it ok.  J Brick Pottery
